The hospital uses HEPA sealed bags for entering and exiting the safety shell filter housing
Bag-in/Bag-out Filter is a highly efficient closed filtration system specially designed for high-risk environments. It is mainly used to handle toxic, harmful, radioactive or biohazardous substances (such as in the pharmaceutical industry, nuclear industry, chemical industry, biological laboratories, etc.) to ensure the safety of operators and the environment when replacing filter materials.
Bag-in-bag filter is an indispensable safety device in high-risk industries. Through a unique bag-type sealing design, it ensures filtration efficiency while reducing the possibility of human contact with dangerous substances to zero.
Double-layer bag design
Inner bag: Holds old filters or contaminants, seals them and then removes them.
Outer bag: Provides secondary protection during the replacement process to prevent leakage.
Flange interface: The filter is connected to the pipeline or equipment through a flange to ensure airtightness.
Quick clamping device: Facilitates the safe disassembly and assembly of filter bags.
Sealed replacement:
When replacing the filter material, the operator seals the old filter bags through the glove port (similar to a biosafety cabinet) and then installs the new ones, ensuring zero contact with contaminants throughout the process.
Negative pressure protection: The system usually maintains a negative pressure to prevent the leakage of contaminants.
Safety protection: Prevent personnel from direct contact with hazardous substances, and comply with strict standards such as OSHA and ISO.
Zero pollution: Eliminate the risk of cross-contamination or leakage during the replacement process.
High-efficiency filtration: Often paired with HEPA/ULPA filter materials, the filtration efficiency for 0.3μm particles is ≥99.97%.
The difference from ordinary filters:
character | Bag-in/Bag out Filter | Plain filter |
Substitute mode | Fully enclosed operation | Direct exposure replacement |
Protection Grade | Protection against biological/chemical hazards | Conventional dust protection |
Cost | Higher (complex design) | Lower |
Model | Overall size/mm | Filter size/mm | Rated Air Flow |
