Corrosion-Resistant Biosafety Containment Valve for BSL-3/4 Facilities
The biosafety airtight valve is an auxiliary device that can divide the ventilation duct into several sections and has a very high air tightness.
It can meet the safety requirement of zero leakage in special circumstances and is also known as a zero leakage valve.
Structural design: The valve body and valve plate of the biosafety airtight valve are made of 304 stainless steel, and the blades are sealed with high-quality silicone rubber. The flange thickness is 5mm and can also be customized. The connection adopts an arc design to reduce the accumulation of dust particles and achieve a lower maintenance frequency.
Air tightness: The biosafety airtight valve was tested under the condition that the initial pressure was at least 2.5kPa lower than the external atmospheric pressure, and the hourly leakage rate did not exceed 0.25% of the test volume. After 5,000 operations of the valve plate switch, it still maintained good air tightness, and the above leakage data remained unchanged.
